Rev. Julie Yarborough

Executive Director

Julie has served as Associate Pastor of Christ Church in Summit, NJ since 1996. For the past 4 years, she has served on the board of One World, One Love, a non-profit organization that works in conjunction with the International Rescue Committee to set up apartments and offer other forms of support to refugees arriving in Northern NJ. It was through her work with refugees that she became acutely aware of the need for more affordable housing.

Bola Lawrence

Board Secretary

Bola has been in-house counsel for a large management consulting firm in Summit NJ for the past 15 years.  She served as a trustee for Kent Place School in Summit, NJ, was the chair of the executive board of Christ Church Summit and a member of its Race Equity Task Force. She was a founding member of Strong Teens Against Racism (“STAR”), a board member of Civic Story and a board member of Eliminating the Achievement Gap.  

Fred Hodara

Director of Operations

Fred is a retired lawyer with 35-years specializing in the restructuring field of corporate finance.  Upon retirement from active practice of the law, Fred has focused on the development and management of for-profit small-scale residential housing for students, young professionals and families.  These projects have included both renovations of aging housing stock and new-build construction. Throughout his professional life, Fred has assisted refugees with asylum and citizenship applications and with resettlement efforts.

Richard Scannell

Director of Finance

Richard worked in the Leasing & Equipment Finance Industry for over forty years, retiring in 2019. Before joining ESHIN, he served as Treasurer and Director of Refugee Assistance Partners, a not for profit organization that assists in the resettlement of refugees in New Jersey. He was a member of an inter-organization working group exploring “outside the box” solutions to the shortage of affordable housing in Northern New Jersey. 

A. Donahue Baker

Director of Development

Donahue is a real estate developer and entrepreneur. He is CEO and co-founder of Money Avenue LLC—a fintech digital bank whose ultimate mission is to bring wealth building practices and improved financial literacy to the masses. He deeply believes in helping others to accomplish their life goals, as he has done so in the world of music, real estate, and education.
